Quick Pastry Recipe

2 Cups (8oz/225grams) Plain Flour

5oz (just under ¾ Cup/150 grams) Soft Tub Margarine

2 Tablespoons Water

Cream margarine, water and 2 tablespoons flour together until mixed.  Work the remaining flour to form a manageable dough.   For a sweet pastry add a teaspoon of sugar to the flour.   An egg yolk can also be added for a richer pastry. Chill for 30 minutes before rolling out to make pie crust.
