Peachy Dessert Recipe
This really is a Peach of a dessert. Like a lot of American recipe’s it’s simple to make and truly scrumptious.
This peachy dessert recipe was given to me by a Southern bell who had a real peach of a voice. She also contributed the Scalloped Pineapple. They always remind me of when we tread the boards in the Panto in Taiwan.

Ingredients
1 Can (400 g) of Sliced Peaches
1 Cup Plain Flour
1 Cup Caster Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt
1 Egg, beaten.
4 Teaspoons Brown Sugar
½ Cup Mixed Chopped Nuts
Prep & Cooking Guidance
Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add the beaten egg and drained chopped peaches.
Mix well and pour into a greased, (9 in / 23 cm) glass or ceramic pie plate. Sprinkle with nuts and brown sugar.
Bake at (160’c / 325’f / Gas Mark 3) for 45 minutes. Top with whipped cream or serve with ice cream if desired.
