Ingredients, Prep & Guidance

Pastry For Cups

½ Cup Butter (Room Temperature)

3 oz (75 g) Cream Cheese

1 Cup Plain Flour

Cream the butter and cream cheese together lightly.  Add the flour to make a pastry dough. Roll out thinly and cut out rounds to line greased, tiny bun tins.  The mixture makes about 24 cups.

Filling For Cups

1 Egg

¼ Cup Chopped Nuts

1 Cup Soft Brown Sugar

Beat the egg and add the nuts and sugar. Fill each cup with a Teaspoon of the nut mixture. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c / 350f / Gas Mark 4 for about 25 minutes.
