Homemade Oreo Cookie Ice Cream – I first came across Oreo Cookies in Taiwan before us Brits knew what an Oreo cookie was.  To this day my boy’s (now men) love them and so does my Granddaughter.  Now you can buy Oreos (and the ice cream) almost anywhere, but if you fancy homemade Oreo cookie ice cream yourself this recipe is a real winner.

Recipe (No Bake)

Ingredients

3 Egg Yolks

2 Tablespoons of Water

1 Large Can of (397 g) Condensed Milk

4 Teaspoon Vanilla

12 – 15 cookies Coarsely Crushed Oreo Cookies

1 Cup (232 g) Whipping Cream (Whipped up to make 2 Cups)

Prep & Cooking Guidance

In a large bowl beat egg yolks then stir in milk, water, and vanilla. Fold in the cookies and whipped cream. 

Pour it into a foil lined 9 x 5 in (23 x 12 cm) tin. Cover with tin foil. Freeze for about 6 hours or until firm. Turn out of tin and remove tin foil. 

Serve. Enjoy!
