Easy Chicken Tagine Recipe
Ingredients:
500g chicken breast
5-6 new potatoes
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp ground cumin
2 tbsp turmeric
2 tbsp sumac
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground coriander
55 g raisins
55 g pine kernel or 3 tbsp almond flakes
450 ml chicken stock
1 tin chick peas, drained
1 tin chopped tomatoes
Prep & Cooking Guidance
Preheat oven at 160 *C
- Cut potatoes in half
- Chop onion and garlic roughly
- Chop chicken breast
- In a tagine dish or casserole dish mix chicken, potatoes, onion and garlic and add the spices and mix
- And the rest of the ingredients and add salt and pepper
- Cook in the oven for 1 hour and take the casserole lit off and cook for 10-15 more minutes
- Enjoy with couscous or flat bread
