Easy Chicken Tagine Recipe


500g chicken breast

5-6 new potatoes

1 onion

2 garlic cloves

2 tbsp ground cumin

2 tbsp turmeric

2 tbsp sumac

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground coriander

55 g raisins

55 g pine kernel or 3 tbsp almond flakes

450 ml chicken stock

1 tin chick peas, drained

1 tin chopped tomatoes

Prep & Cooking Guidance

Preheat oven at 160 *C

  1. Cut potatoes in half
  2. Chop onion and garlic roughly
  3. Chop chicken breast
  4. In a tagine dish or casserole dish mix chicken, potatoes, onion and garlic and add the spices and mix
  5. And the rest of the ingredients and add salt and pepper
  6. Cook in the oven for 1 hour and take the casserole lit off and cook for 10-15 more minutes
  7. Enjoy with couscous or flat bread
