Butterscotch Brownie Recipe
This next one is a twist on the traditional Butterscotch Brownie recipe combining two favorites, chocolate and toffee!!
These are so yummy and kids love them, but watch out for the nuts with the younger kids.
½ Cup Margarine or Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Baking powder
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Prep & Cooking Guidance
Cream margarine or butter with the sugar, add the beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients together and stir into the creamed mixture. Add walnuts and mix thoroughly.
Spread in a greased and floured 10 x 15 x 1 in (37 x 25 x 2 ½ cm) tin and bake at 180c / 350f / Gas Mark 4 for 25 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm.
